Tegan was being a great big sister playing in the floor with her little brother.



She was telling him things to make him laugh....and letting him play with her puppy dogs.

And then I guess he wanted to wrestle. Boys are crazy!

I can only imagine what is it going to be like in a couple years!! They are going to be fighting like cats and dogs I am sure!! LOL

Tegan's last day of swimming lessons were last night. She got her ticket...and was trying to figure out what it said...

Really trying....

I finally had to tell her that she didn't pass. I think I knew going into it that she wasn't going 2.

So this whole week I was sure to tell her how great she was doing and how far she had come.

Truth of the matter is there was only one kid in her class that passed and he was 8 years old. After class I was talking to some of the parents and a bunch of them were on their 2nd turn around.

There was even a little boy alittle younger than Tegan who was amazing at doing the stuff (he had taken the class three times already) and still hadn't passed. I really think it is a size issue. The next class starts out in the 4 foot area. And if your kid isn't that tall...

So we will do it again next time. She was happy to be doing it. :-) And she is becoming a great swimmer!

Super Bowl Dresses

Angela and I worked for hours trying to make the girls some play dresses. We cut out the sizes and added velcro...and the velcro wouldn't stay...so we broke out the mini sewing machine...and that didn't work! So we loaded up and headed to Grandma Livesay's.



Within ten minutes we had two fashion diva's ready to party for the rest of the super bowl!

We know what to do next time....just go straight to Gma's with our material! :)

Out with a bang!!

Tegan's birthday party was on Saturday. I had planned on posting about it yesterday...but man I was pooped! I guess I am 2 old to hang with 5 year olds! :) Here are some pictures from the party/slumber party.

And at the end of the night...crashed!

Birthday Fun

Tegan's day started off playing her Nintendo DS. I swear she is addicted! :) haha. I got constant updates while I was at work about how great she was doing and how much she loved playing G-Force. Her Aunt Sarah took her out for a girls lunch date. She had a blast with no boys.

Then for dinner...we went to Chucky Cheese's! Tegan had her BBF Trinity and her cousin/BFF Caden there. It was great!! (The food not so much but watching the kids play was fun.) Aunt Sarah and Gma Livesay made Tegan a 5 birthday shirt. :) I love it. Her party is on Saturday so I think she will wear it again.





Jensen even joined in on the fun.

All in all a great night. Oh and I saved the best for last. I laughed so hard when I saw this picture! HOLD ON CUZ...WERE GOING IN THE WATER!! :)

I can just imagine when they get alittle older and are out on a real lake with a real jet ski together. Oh lord watch out!! It is fun to think about things like that. I wonder what they are going to look like? If they are still going to be best friends? If Caden is going to beat up Tegan's boyfriend because he made her cry?I love it! :) Knowing Tegan she will probably beat up the boyfriend herself!

So now the wait is on for Saturday. Tegan is having THREE 5 and almost 5 year old friends stay the night. :) It will be lots of crazy fun!! I can't wait. We plan on painting our nails, dancing like crazy, playing dress-up, also playing Wii and probably watching some movies. Tim said he is getting the heck out of dodge until we settle down and watch movies. I guess he doesn't want his nails painted. :) lol...men I swear!!

Our Wii still hasn't made it to our house yet. So we will probably have to borrow Grandma's and Grandpa's. Oh well thank God for them right? :) They are always there when we need them. Now which games should we rent??

Birthday a day early

I can't believe today is Tegan's last day as a four-year-old ever!! I can't believe that!

We tried to make cookies last night for her class. That is what she wanted to take. Jensen even helped. :)

They tasted amazing but didn't look so good so we made a quick run to the grocery store for some cupcakes!

Oh and I have to confess something....I cheated. I have never been good at buying gifts and not giving it to the person when you are suppose 2...I always give it to them early. That is the reason why we never go xmas shopping until the last mintue.

Well today was no different! Tegans birthday isn't until tomorrow but since I am off today I talked Tim into letting me give her her gift early. We spent the whole night playing it. I had a good time probably just as good as a time as her!

Hutchinson Petting Zoo

OMG, yesterday's weather was so nice! Tegan had her cousin Cole stay the weekend with us and when we took him home yesterday we got a wild hair. We saw a sign for the petting zoo on our way home and decided to check and see if it was open. And guess what?! It was! So we stopped in and took a tour. We rode the little train they have which was pretty neat. Tegan was so excited! She has loved trains every since our BFF Nick and Angela took her on a real one. Jensen kept bouncing up and down on my lap so I think he enjoyed it too.
This little guy was in love with Jensen....

He kept following him around licking the glass at him. It was so cute. I wonder if he wanted to eat him or just play? I heard that he males can be pretty crazy at this age. lol :) Oh well there was glass in between the two of them. :)





Tegan loved riding the turtle...and watching the otters. They were my favorite too! She got to hold a lizard while she was there and got bit by a mini horse. So all in all a good day! After having the harsh weather we have had for the last couple of weeks this was a blessing to have such a nice day! I hope it stays like this all week! :)

Tegan passed her swimming lessons. She graduated from a Goldfish to a Pequin! :) She is so excited! Now in February she will start her new classes.

I can't believe my baby girl is going to be FIVE in a week! She has been begging for a Nintendo DS so I ordered her one today. She is going to be so excited! I hope she looks this happy on her bday :)



Tonight is Tegan's last day of swimming lessons. Hopefully she passes and goes on to be a Penguin! :) I am sure that she will she is becoming a great swimmer. Isn't is cool how kids can just learn something so quick? I know as I am getting older it takes me much longer to learn how to do something. Speaking of learning.....


After much soul searching and exploring I have decided to start Friends University in March for my B.A. program. I filled out my paperwork and got accepted at the beginning of January. Now that I actually decided to go I am getting excited! I will be going on campus for classes. I think this will give me a much better grasp for what I am learning because it will be an actual classroom setting. Also it will be much more hands on and I will be able to hook up a switch or hub...rather than just reading about it. I can't wait for these 22 months to be up. :) Wish me luck!
