Taco Soup

Tegan and I prepared supper last night so it would be ready when I got home from work today. We made Taco Soup. I had never had this before...but it sounded good. Here is the receipe.Taco Soup--

1.5 lbs ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 can black beans
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1/2 package taco seasoning mix
1/2 package Original Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (dry)
2 1/2 cups water

Brown ground beef and onions in a large pan, and drain off fat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for an hour or so.
Tim and I are going to add corn bread to the soup when we eat it tonight. We tested it last night...and it tasted better with the cornbread mixed in. :) (And cheaper in calories than adding the fritos, cheese and sourcream. ) But it is up to you. :)
